A Golf Course is a ground or place where the game of golf is played. A Course consists of a series of holes. A standard golf club consists of 18 holes. The Courses are private, public, and municipality owned. Many Courses are links and often coastal.
Basically, a Golf Course has many features. Those features includes tee box, water hazard, rough, out of bounds, bunker, water hazard, fairway, putting green, pin and hole. A Course also includes Teeing Area, Fairway and Rough, Greens, Hazards and Driving Range.
A Golf Course has a landscape design. Golf course architecture is considered a different course of study. The layout of the course follows traditional principles such as 9 or 18 holes, their par values and the number of holes of each par value per course. For Men, Par 3 is equal to the 250 yards i.e. 230 meters and below, par 4 is equal to the 251 to 450 yards and par 5 is equal to the 451 to 690 yards.
